Interests

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. I welcome all members to the Economy, Energy and Tourism Committee’s 33rd meeting in 2013 and I remind everyone to turn off or at least turn to silent all mobile phones and electronic devices.

I welcome Christian Allard to his first public meeting of the committee—he has attended a meeting in private. I thank Mark McDonald for his service to the committee in the relatively brief time for which he was with us. I also welcome Esme Forrest from Dunblane high school, who joins us on work experience. Thank you for coming along; I hope that you will enjoy observing the committee’s proceedings.

I shall refrain from further comment on that.
