1. Decision on taking business in private:

The Committee agreed to take items 3 and 4 in private. The Committee also agreed to review the evidence heard on Petition PE1758 in private at future meetings.

2. Petition PE1758: End greyhound racing in Scotland:

The Committee took evidence from—

Professor Cathy Dwyer, Chair, Mike Radford, Member and Dr Ellie Wigham, Member, Scottish Animal Welfare Commission .

3. Petition PE1758: End greyhound racing in Scotland (In private):

The Committee considered the evidence it heard earlier in the meeting.

4. Wildlife Management and Muirburn (Scotland) Bill (In private):

The Committee considered its approach to the scrutiny of the Bill at Stage 1. A draft call for written evidence was agreed to and the Committee agreed the schedule of oral evidence sessions. The Committee also agreed to review the evidence heard, and consider its draft Stage 1 report, in private at future meetings.
