The Committee considered its work programme and agreed to undertake a short inquiry into the Scottish-specific Public Sector Equality Duty. The Committee also noted the Scottish Government's intention to publish a paper on legal aid reform and agreed to return to this subject once that paper is published. It further agreed to explore the possibility of holding a future evidence session with the relevant UK Government Minister for Women and Equalities.
The Committee considered and agreed a letter to the Gender Sensitive Parliament Advisory Group.
