1 Decision on taking business in private:
The Committee agreed to take item 4 in private.
2 Cross-Party Group:
The Committee considered an application for recognition from the proposed Cross-Party Group on Care Leavers, and took evidence from—
Paul O'Kane, Convener of the proposed CPG on Care Leavers, Scottish Parliament.
3 Cross-Party Group - approval:
The Committee agreed to accord recognition to the proposed Cross-Party Group on Care Leavers.
4 Correspondence (In Private):
The Committee agreed correspondence to the Presiding Officer relating to the recommendations of the Citizens’ Assembly, correspondence to Neil Bibby MSP on the potential for revisions to the Code of Conduct for MSPs to prevent MSPs undertaking “second jobs”, and correspondence to the Scottish Government on an impact assessment of the Lobbying (Scotland) Act 2016.
5 Scottish Local Government Elections (Candidacy Rights of Foreign Nationals) Bill (In Private):
The Committee agreed a draft Stage 1 report.
