The Committees agreed to take item 3 in private.
2 Reducing drug deaths in Scotland and tackling problem drug use:
The Committees took evidence from—
Angela Constance, Minister for Drugs Policy, Scottish Government.
3 Work programme (in private):
The Committees agreed to invite the Minister for Drugs Policy to a further evidence session in 2023. The Committees also agreed to write to the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service to seek an update on their deliberations on the legality of safe drug consumption rooms and to seek information from the Scottish Government on the UK-wide Drugs Ministerial meetings.
