Dear Convener,
Thank you for your letter of 4 February about the letter from the Equality and Human Rights Committee (EHRC) to myself of 26 January.
Since 26 January I have engaged in correspondence with Baroness Falkner of the EHRC which I enclose here.
It remains the Scottish Government’s intention to introduce the Gender Recognition Reform (Scotland) Bill in this Parliamentary year. The timing of introduction will be announced shortly.
