Scottish Water’s climate change adaptation plan identifies the following key risks with climate change:
Warmer, drier summers that can lead to drought and deteriorating water quality.
Identify or introduce an appropriate monitoring body and give it the necessary powers, including to: scrutinise compliance; follow-up on climate plans; and recommend improvements in climate activity.
The Committee calls on the Scottish Government, in responding to this report, to provide an update on progress towards producing a follow-up National Youth Work Strategy.
