The task facing an elderly crofter in a place such as Harris to gather and tag sheep electronically is not to be underestimated—especially when that task might follow in the wake of weeks of associated form filling.
An important point is that the process is pragmatic and follows the better regulation agenda. I have a quick question that follows on from what we heard from the previous witnesses.
I had a fruitful telephone conference with him and I believe that he took on board some of the points that I made. We followed that up in writing and he seemed willing to look again at what is specific to Scotland.

The destinations of young people leaving local authority care following their 16th birthday in 2006-07, 2005-06 and 2004-05 are shown in tables 1 to 3 for each local authority.
The implication that it is a lesser form of violence does not follow of necessity when the phrases “domestic violence” or “domestic abuse” are used, but it is there.
