The Scottish Executive has also presented to Parliament proposals in the Smoking, Health and Social Care (Scotland) Bill to rectify the position on a retrospective basis in relation to both the operation of unregistered providers and the payments made to them by local authorities where they did not comply with statutory requirements.The findings that I draw from those events are as follows. In Dundee, Iain Luke and Ernie Ross have pressed ministers on the issue. Following that, the Minister of State for Pensions, Malcolm Wicks, announced that Dundee will be the location for one of the 12 pension centres in Britain, which will receive additional investment to provide customers with better and more efficient services by 2008.

Would he not commend them and urge those who operate in a more crudely capitalist market to follow what the Co-op has done? I am sure that the Co-op will find the Fairtrade brand a success and that its profits will increase as a result of selling that brand.
