In addition, we have committed to building a system of school age childcare, providing care before and after school and in the holidays, which will be funded for those on lowest incomes.
There were 11,055 reported strokes in Scotland in 2022, which is an increase on 2021. The latest data from the year ending 31 March 2022 reported 3,836 deaths in which cerebrovascular disease, including stroke, was the underlying cause.

Through these engagements we have reminded banks of their social responsibility and re-iterated the importance of in-person banking services for communities across Scotland.
This is a slight increase from 2.8% the previous quarter, but a reduction from 9.6% from October-December 2022. School counsellors are able to refer pupils to CAMHS and other support services; counsellors completed 374 onward referrals to CAMHS between July and December 2022.
