Expert Advisory Group Report and Recommendations on Ending Conversion Practices

The Scottish Government will carefully analyse and reflect on the report, the EHRCJ Committee’s findings in the Report on Petition PE1817: End Conversion Therapy, and all other data and evidence pertaining to conversion practices in Scotland over the coming months. My officials and I look forward to working closely with the Committee to ensure that as we progress with establishing a Bill to end conversion practices, all the measures that we take are deliverable and bring about real and lasting change to the lives of those who have, or are at risk of, experiencing these abhorrent practices in Scotland.
