If the duties that a court decision places on anybody are not followed through, there are severe consequences, but it is not uncommon for the decision of a children’s hearing not to be followed through.

The studies that have been done show that, if we have a turnover of seven years for the car fleet, and if take-up by 2020 is, say, one in seven or one in six, then by 2023 or 2024 every single car in showrooms will need to be fully electric if we are to have a largely electric transport system by 2030.

Over a period of years from 2004, the tools were developed following the work of the Programme and have been mandated by the Scottish Government since 2013.
The initial recovery in real manufacturing output stalled in 2012 and declined for the following two years. Output in the most recent years has been erratic with growth in 2014, followed by decline in 2015 and almost flat growth in 2016.
