To ask the Scottish Executive what procedures have been undertaken to ensure that the programme of managed development of herbicide tolerant crop trials in Scotland does not contravene EU Directive 96/220/EEC.
Perhaps we should ask for an update on what the Eaga Partnership is doing, given that it is providing the programme. I was pleased that the minister's response was so positive.
We also target our sampling on areas that we know that the industry exploits. Our sampling programme is focused.In addition, as we did last year, we will this Christmas reassess the programme and examine the closed boxes that we know are active boxes.
We must proceed with as much speed as possible, otherwise any work that is done by the committee will be negated by the fact that the programme will have been rolled out. I urge the committee to take action as swiftly as possible, although that might not be easy.
However, the last paragraph also states:"The Executive has an extensive programme of work in relation to children, in which social work has a crucial role".A number of aspects of social work are then listed.
Perhaps we should also ask the Scottish intercollegiate guidelines network whether it has plans to include information on pulmonary rehabilitation programmes for the treatment of people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
