Consumer Scotland supplementary evidence 5 December 2023
We commissioned Ipsos to carry out consumer research using a deliberative methodology, with fieldwork finishing in mid-November and a report of findings due from Ipsos in March 2024. Over 40 participants – broadly reflective of the Scottish population – were recruited to take part in a series of detailed workshops during October and November 2023.

With regards police carriage of naloxone, a test of change (pilot) of the carriage and administration of intranasal naloxone as an emergency first aid measure was conducted by Police Scotland between March and October 2021. The pilot concluded with over 800 officers trained and 56 life-saving administrations of naloxone.
