Mr Morgan may laugh, but I can only say that that is how it looked to me—he might be getting a different view from where he is.The matter of the grid is extraordinarily important, as the Scottish Executive has consistently acknowledged.

I expect the marine energy group to report to the next meeting of FREDS in Aberdeen in May. The minister will be aware that the Pentland firth, between Orkney and my constituency, has been described as a future Saudi Arabia because of the amount of energy that can be produced there from tidal power.
