Stage 1 Report on the Islands (Scotland) Bill - Local government electoral wards for inhabited islands
The Committee recommends that the Scottish Government follow the suggestion of the Boundary Commission and amend the Bill so that the definition of “wholly or mainly” consisting of an inhabited island be changed to "wholly or partly" to provide greater flexibility to better balance a ward.

School infrastructure - Local authorities' inspections and remedial work
[Our contractor] then did a walk-around of sites to identify walls on which they wanted to carry out intrusive surveys, and it checked the as-built drawings. Following that, it did the intrusive surveys and confirmed that walls were built as they should be and were stable, so there were no issues in relation to that.

The Committee notes that best estimates as to the costs to the prison service set out in the Financial MemorandumixAt paragraph 52 are based on an assumption that disposals in relation to the new offence will follow a similar pattern to current disposals in relation to domestic abuse cases, although this may not turn out to be the case in practice.
