There can be earlier intervention to identify parents who may be struggling to cope and whose children are therefore most at risk of becoming involved in crime.
Those include: massage parlours and saunas; trafficking, which may or may not be as much of a problem in Scotland as elsewhere in the United Kingdom; and the many links between such activities and other organisations and individuals that may or may not be associated with other activities that could or could not be construed as criminal.
