NUTS: The Classification of Territorial Units for Statistics (NUTS; French: Nomenclature des unités territoriales statistiques) is a geocode standard for referencing the subdivisions of countries for statistical purposes across the European Union.

Our nationally agreed Partnership Information Network (PIN) policy “Embracing Equality, Diversity and Human Rights” was published in December 2013 (available at http://www.gov.scot/Publications/2013/12/3747).
Additionally, the Implementing and Reviewing Whistleblowing Arrangements in NHSScotland PIN Policy itself clearly sets out boards’ obligations in terms of communicating local policies developed in line with the PIN.
