My amendments 259 to 261 and 263 to 265 cover assistance animals. The amendments exempt assistance animals from the pet request process, granting an automatic right to have an assistance animal in a rented property.
The amendment will also enable the Secretary of State to make payments to the relevant company in respect of that assistance. 24. The UK Government considers the amendment to be relatively minor and technical. 25.
