There is no set term for the appointment of Children's Panel Chairmen. They may be appointed from one to five years with further periods of appointment as an option.
It is important for the Executive, committee members and anyone else who may want a member to move an amendment to ensure that all amendments are lodged by 12 noon on Friday.
Although voters are perfectly capable of distinguishing between their local and national loyalties, which may or may not be the same, the coincidence of national elections with council elections makes the council candidates' task much harder.
