ThePRC programme checks for pesticide residues in food, testing some 4,000 sampleseach year to ensure that no unexpected residues are occurring and pesticides arebeing used correctly.
This is achieved through participation in the National Dental Inspection Programme. The extent of involvement in the programme varies across boards for both P1 and P7 inspections.

To ask the Scottish Executive, further to the answer to question S2W-8209 by Malcolm Chisholm on 2 July 2004, whether the programme to end mixed-sex wards has been completed.
Premier Prison Service is carrying out an investigation into the allegations contained within the BBC programme. The SPS will work with the company to ensure that all necessary action is taken.
