I thank the cabinet secretary for that answer. The enhanced cost of living support included in the Scottish budget means that people in Scotland will continue to benefit from the most generous cost of living package anywhere in the UK.
The home working allowance was welcome, but we need to go further. Can I ask that any cost of living support payment goes above and beyond the previous home working allowance so that it can meet the scale of the challenge that people are facing with the cost of living crisis?
