In January 1997 there was a meeting between the clerk to the inquiry, and representatives of the Scottish Record Office and the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service. Following that meeting it was agreed that copies of all the productions in the inquiry should be lodged with the Scottish Record Office (now the National Archives of Scotland).
