The Executive is content that the current system is robust and contains sufficient assessment criteria to ensure that local authorities follow the correct procedures. The Accounts Commission has confirmed that there are no plans at present for the Auditor General for Scotland to examine the Executive's procedures in relation to PPP projects in education.
