The Executive provides £1.5 millionper annum to drugs action teams for support activities, some of which is usedto engage and assist local drug forums. To ask the Scottish Executive what influence or direct input it will have on the UK Government's contribution to the G8 summit's discussions on climate change in respect of reaching agreement on how to assist in research into climate change.
The commission will be able to investigate and report on generic or sectoral human rights issues. To assist it in this role it will have powers of access to information.
