When the code of conduct for police staff and officers was drafted, an attractive provision was its mention of whistleblowing—that offered reassurance, as the organisation had no whistleblowing policy at the time.

I had a productive meeting with Christine Tacon, the Grocery Code Adjudicator, on 8 October 2015 where a number of issues were discussed, including how producers and suppliers might better understand her role and how particular issues can be aired and addressed.
