First, working with all relevant stakeholders in local government, health, education and the third sector, as well as children and families themselves, and building on the results of a baseline survey of services for disabled children, which is currently being undertaken by the for Scotland’s disabled children campaign’s liaison project, we will undertake and bring back to the Parliament by the end of this year a broad strategic review of all aspects of children’s disability services.Secondly, we will explore the strategic value at local level of work on a charter for Scotland’s disabled children, which the liaison project is developing.
