It occurred to me after I submitted my evidence that genuine problems may arise with domino transplantation—John Forsythe may want to pick up on that—whereby a competent child would undergo a transplant and is giving to another child.
It would give the commission a clear understanding of our concerns. Iain Jamieson may disagree, but that is a good example of where repeal may be desirable but not necessary.

To ask the Scottish Executive how many extra police officers have been recruited to Scottish police forces since May 1999. There are 365 more police officers now than in May 1999.
FSA Scotland has already answered questions that we have raised, and it may well be that the other regulations that FSA Scotland mentions cover the point.
