Investors in People is undoubtedly a good and necessary programme, but not one that is always seen as being imperative and important to small companies.
Item in Private Under agenda item 1, the committee is asked to agree to take item 5, which is consideration of options for its forward work programme, in private. It is normal procedure for committees to discuss future work programmes in private.
Item in Private Item 5 on our agenda concerns a matter with which we did not deal at last week's meeting—consideration of our forward work programme. It is proposed that we discuss that in private, but we will publish the priorities that we decide to include in our forward work programme.
We got together and decided to initiate a national coring programme—coring involves drilling 200mm holes in the road and taking the core out to check it—and we have now had four such programmes.
