The Taskforce currently plan to publish a strategic plan bringing together work from across Scottish Government to protect children and young people from online harms and promote positive online behaviours at the turn of the year.
The second, which has just been signed, is to assist in the technical development work required for December’s launch of the initial version of online app, as well as further technical work as required for the subsequent roll out from 2026.

To ask the Scottish Government what discussions it has had with the UK Government regarding moving driving licence theory tests to an online system. Driver and vehicle licensing and testing is reserved to the UK government.
That is a bit like the situation with cars: I might not want to buy my own car, but I need to get from A to B so I buy a service that will allow me to do that.
It is to do with the structure of those funds. The individual is buying not the property itself but a unit share in a fund that is then buying the property.

That is why the Scottish Government is piloting 12 programmes across Scotland. The single point of contact programme sets out to ensure that all patients will have a constant point of contact throughout their cancer pathway, to whom they can continually refer back, rather than needing to make new contacts as they proceed with testing, treatment and post-treatment support.
