We hear tell of great co-operation with the UK, and sometimes we see the eventual results; the problem lies in between, when the Scots view may or may not be getting put forward.
In large urban centres, folk have opportunities to modify their behaviour. They may continue to live in a close community, but they may work somewhere else and need not continue to go to the same pub.
That will impact on their decision to come into farming. It may be too late for us. We are having to reconsider our position in the industry—we have a young family—and may be forced to sell up.
