To ask the Scottish Executive what information it has on how many reservists and territorial army personnel who live or are employed in Scotland are currently on active service and what effect the absence of such personnel is having on (a) public and (b) private sector services.
To ask the Scottish Executive, with regard to key priority 3.1 outlined in its National Cultural Strategy, what progress has been made in identifying the contribution that cultural activities can make to promoting literacy, in the context of the work of the Adult Literacy Task Force.
Of course, detailed discussion is required to get the provision right—we want to ensure that we know where sex offenders or potential sex offenders are and that they do not go into hiding in a way that makes them unlikely to be detected.
