Staff Allowance (1) Subject to the provisions of this paragraph, a member shall be eligible for an allowance of £36,000 for each financial year for the purpose of employing staff (whether full time or part time, temporary or permanent, through an agency or on a contract for services) to assist the member in carrying out his or her Parliamentary duties.
