I would like to tease out something with Mr Brown. Mr Brown, you said that there had been a 500 per cent increase in destitution presentations, and you are dealing with many more child protection orders.
My early experience with rivers was close and observed, with the salmon run in the Cree—the poachers gaffing the fish at night—and the brown trout in the Penkiln when their dorsal fins were exposed to the air because the summer had reduced the river to a wee stream.
