To ask the Scottish Executive how much was spent by the Scottish Tourist Board and visitscotland in promoting golfing activities in each year since 1995. I refer the member to the answer given to question S1W-14728 on 17 April 2001.
To ask the Scottish Executive what new powers it is seeking under the UK Government’s consideration of the forthcoming Marine Bill. The Scottish Executive is actively reviewing with the UK Governmentthe appropriate balance of responsibilities in relation to the new powers proposedthrough this legislation.

To ask the Scottish Executive whether it has any plans to collect data on the cost of national policing activities, such as royal protection duties, policing of the Parliament and offshore policing, centrally.
However, figures will be obtained from Local Road Safety Units and CyclingScotland on their training activities. I will write to the member once all the responseshave been received.
I understand that NHS Fife will not proceed with any reduction in elective surgical activity this year.Planned admissions for elective surgical are booked as normal.
