I am also very pleased that the Scottish Government has been able to commit up to £20m of funding to support implementation. The intention is that the majority of this funding will be distributed via the Independent Living Fund Scotland.
The Area Dental Professional Committee agreed that there were challenges with recruitment and retention of Dental Professionals in Scotland and it was noted that generally, there needs to be increased funding for better resources and more training of dentists and therapists.
