Report on the Scottish Budget 2026-27 - Economic and fiscal outlook

It has revised up Scottish earnings growth to 2.9% for 2026-27, a small increase from its December 2024 forecast of 2.8%. The OBR revised up its UK earnings growth prediction for 2026-27 in its November 2025 forecasts to 3.2% (from 2.1% in the OBR’s October 2024 forecast).
