Under the range of scenarios provided by the Scottish Government, "other expenditure" will fall by between 1-16% in real terms over the period to 2022-23, with the bulk of reductions occurring in 2019-20 and 2020-21. Under the central scenario, "other expenditure" will fall as a share of the Budget from 44% in 2018-19 to 37% in 2022-23.
