The Scottish steering group is focussing on national activity and has no plans for a local event in North Ayrshire.Local organisations may be planning their own events around Scotland.

The Scottish Executive is participating actively with the UK Government to implement the site identification and protection requirements of the EU Birds and Habitats Directives beyond territorial waters.
One of its main aims is to provide a co-ordination role for waste minimisation activities in Scotland and link into waste minimisation programmes and activities elsewhere.
Although the commission will have the ability to lay the reports of its activities before the Scottish Parliament, there is no provision for the Parliament or the Equal Opportunities Committee to do anything about those reports.
The adoption by charities of accrual accounting and the statement of financial activities has helped greatly in giving a much better picture of charities' financial positions.
We have lots of little narrow streets and the emergency services are always expressing concern that they might not be able to get access to the houses if the parking gets any heavier.
