It has occurred to me that, in at least one of the private bills that are due to be introduced in May or June, the promoter of the bill may no longer be the appropriate promoter—or may, in fact, no longer exist.
It is not a matter of updating facilities that may be fairly recent. If a facility is being refurbished, it is because the asset has come to the end of its life cycle.
If there are gaps, as Robin Harper indicates there may be, we will examine those gaps and try to fill them, but that may mean moving resources about to accommodate that.
In our local authority we are fighting to have an appropriate self-assessment carers form devised by carers.Alan McGinley may have something to add. The fact that carers may have to ask for an assessment is a fundamental issue.
