Under FOISA, any charges imposed by a public authority for disclosure of information must be calculated in accordance with The Freedom of Information (Fees for Required Disclosure) (Scotland) Regulations 2004, which makes provision for the following charges—
requests costing under £100 to fulfil are free of charge;
requests costing between £100 and the upper cost threshold of £600, will be charged at a maximum of 10% of the difference between the projected costs of providing the information, and £100;
