We can write to the Government to urge it to continue to pursue it. The issue may well stay on our agenda if the Government informs us of progress, but the petition asks us to urge the Scottish Government to speak to the UK Government and that has been done.
Paragraph 229 gives a different impression, unless I am misreading it and it is only about new tenants. That may be the explanation, but that paragraph gives the impression that there will not be any impact.There is a more fundamental question.
It states:"Where the subject matter of the Bill falls within the remit of more than one committee the Parliament may, on a motion of the Parliamentary Bureau, designate one of those committees as the lead committee."
If there is a significant change between the planned work and the final work, the fee may be adjusted, and the time recording system will be the basis for that change, so it is also important in that respect.
Have you received any indication of when you may hear the result? The minister has told us only that a camera will be installed at the junctions to check drivers' behaviour this month and in April.
