One teacher had been on an EU-funded visit to France for a teacher training course through an opportunity that was highlighted by Le Français en Ecosse. She described the application form as difficult, however, and she gave up a week of her holidays to go so that the school did not have the problem of back-filling her post.The visit was very helpful.
