My view is that there is great merit in continuing to fund rape crisis centres directly from the Scottish Government. Although a centre may be in Glasgow, for example, many of the people who are serviced by it will come from other parts of Scotland.

Can specific areas within local authority areas not be chosen for pilots? Demand may be very low in some parts of a local authority area but very high in others.
