What message would the First Minister send to that company and to any other company that puts its staff and wider society at risk by such unreasonable behaviour? The vast majority of employers have acted responsibly to help to protect their workers against the risk of Covid, and facilitating the ability of workers to get vaccinated is part of that.
But we must not be complacent, deliberate fire setting and fire related anti-social behaviour continues to be a serious concern in many communities and local authority areas as well as placing a very significant operational demand on the SFRS.
In many cases, the distinction between the perpetrators of behaviour and the victims of behaviour is not always clear cut; the people who come before the system are not always neatly categorised.
If that is indeed the case, perpetrators may have gone without challenge, as there was no way of seeing whether that behaviour was a course of conduct. Is the First Minister aware of any such cases?
All staff have to be proactive in promoting positive relationships and behaviour in the classroom, in the playground and beyond, in the wider learning community.
PE1613, by Craig Thomson, is on taking account of sound sensitivity in regulating antisocial behaviour and environmental health. The petition calls on the Scottish Parliament to urge the Scottish Government to provide for the needs of people who experience sound sensitivity due to disability or medical conditions to be taken into account in legislation and guidance on noise and antisocial behaviour.
Later this month, we will seek the advice of the teacher panel and the advisory group on relationships and behaviour in schools, to further inform our approach.
