Supported by: Craig Hoy*, Bill Kidd*, Alexander Stewart*, Liam McArthur*, Jeremy Balfour*, Jamie Halcro Johnston*, Annie Wells*, Miles Briggs*, Douglas Ross*, Paul Sweeney*, Ash Regan* *S6M-14152 Stephanie Callaghan: Mygovscot Myaccount Reaches 2.5 Million Accounts Milestone—That the Parliament commends the Improvement Service on reaching the milestone of 2.5 million mygovscot myaccount accounts on the 10th anniversary of its launch by the Improvement Service in 2014; recognises that a mygovscot myaccount provides people living in Scotland with the ability to set up an online account that can be used across multiple organisations and to access an increasing range of online public services; understands that mygovscot myaccount also provides authentication and identity verification for online National Entitlement Card applications through getyournec.scot, and supports other platforms such as parentsportal.scot, Young Scot card applications and tellmescotland.gov.uk, which is Scotland’s portal to discover and set alerts for public notices, and acknowledges that more than 50% of the eligible Scottish population, which includes all Scottish residents over the age of 12, is now using mygovsscot myaccount to access public services online, and that 40 organisations are currently live with mygovscot myaccount, including all 32 local authorities across Scotland.
