Subordinate Legislation Considered by the Delegated Powers and Law Reform Committee on 23 March 2021 - Scrutiny of instruments under the Committee’s remit: instruments drawn to the attention of the lead committee
The instrument corrects drafting errors in earlier regulations extending the expiry date for relevant planning permissions and consents until 31 March 2022, and applies the saving provision in those regulations to conservation area consents, as well as listed building consents.

As I have said countless times, the bill does not introduce any new provisions; it merely removes temporary measures that are no longer necessary or extends the expiry date to March 2022 of measures to ensure that public bodies can continue to operate while public health measures remain in place.

The Victim Surcharge and Victim Surcharge Fund
Victim Support Scotland would appreciate it if the guidance were to include information on what happens to surplus funds and whether organisations are able to bank these for future periods, or if this will have an impact on how much funding can be awarded during the subsequent round of applications to the VSF.

*S6M-15145 Christine Grahame: Prison Officers Association Food Bank Donation—That the Parliament notes that the Prison Officers Association (POA) Scotland recently held its annual conference in the Peebles Hydro; understands that the union's conference delegates and guests donated over 350 kg of food and a financial donation to the Peeblesshire food bank, which takes the total to over 900 kg in the last two years, and congratulates POA on this excellent initiative and its commitment to try to mitigate, where possible, food insecurity and poverty.
