Examples from my constituency certainly suggest some concern about the extent to which local businesses can participate in the procurement process. Although the criteria may change as we move through the exercise, we should perhaps issue a wee caution that we need to see evidence that local businesses do not suffer any detriment in the procurement process.

I am sure that Annabel Goldie, as a woman of fairness and dispassion on such matters and one who has read those documents, will agree that the commitment that I gave to the Parliament in May that the Government would always look on such issues on a judicial basis is borne out by every single one of the documents.
