Advisors and other services 15 (1) The Commissioner may obtain advice, assistance or any other service from any person 30 who, in the opinion of the Commissioner, is qualified to give it. (3) Any payment under sub-paragraph (2) is subject to the approval of the Parliamentary corporation. 12 Wellbeing and Sustainable Development (Scotland) Bill Schedule 1—The office of Future Generations Commissioner for Scotland Part 5—Accounts and accountability Staff pensions 16 (1) The Commissioner may, with the approval of the Parliamentary corporation, pay or make arrangements for the payment of pensions, allowances and gratuities to, or in respect of, any individual who is or has been a member of staff of the Commissioner. 5 (2) Those arrangements may include— (a) making payments towards the provision of those pensions, allowances and gratuities, (b) providing and maintaining schemes for the payment of those pensions, allowances and gratuities. 10 (3) The reference in sub-paragraph (1) to pensions, allowances and gratuities includes 1 pensions, allowances and gratuities by way of compensation for loss of office.

Children (Scotland) Bill 25 (2) The relevant amending section— (a) in relation to section 11B(2) of the 1995 Act is section 7 of this Act, (b) in relation to section 11D(2) of the 1995 Act is section 13 of this Act. 23 Ancillary provision 5 (1) The Scottish Ministers may by regulations make any incidental, supplementary, consequential, transitional, transitory or saving provision they consider appropriate for the purposes of, or in connection with, or for giving full effect to this Act or any provision made under it. (2) Regulations under this section may— 10 (a) make different provision for different purposes, (b) modify any enactment (including this Act). (3) Regulations under this section— (a) are subject to the affirmative procedure if they add to, replace or omit any part of the text of an Act, but 15 (b) otherwise are subject to the negative procedure. 24 Commencement (1) The following provisions come into force on the day after Royal Assent: this section and sections 22, 23 and 25. (2) The other provisions of this Act come into force on such day as the Scottish Ministers 20 may by regulations appoint. (3) Regulations under this section— (a) may make different provision for different purposes, (b) may include transitional, transitory or saving provision. 25 Short title 25 The short title of this Act is the Children (Scotland) Act 2020.

Notice to occupants 2 On an application under paragraph 1, the sheriff may require the Scottish Ministers to give a written notice to an occupant of the premises in question. 20 Disposal of application 3 Where the certificate accompanying an application under paragraph 1 specifies that a (1) requirement to remove was imposed under section 8(1)(a), the sheriff must, if satisfied that it is reasonable to do so, grant a warrant of ejection within the period of 7 days beginning with— 25 (a) the date of the application, or (b) if the Scottish Ministers were required to give written notice under paragraph 2, the date that notice was given. (2) Where the certificate accompanying an application under paragraph 1 specifies that a requirement to remove was imposed under section 8(1)(b), the sheriff may, if satisfied 30 that it is reasonable to do so, grant a warrant of ejection. (3) A warrant under this paragraph may include such conditions (including conditions with respect to payment of rent) as the sheriff thinks just and equitable. (4) The sheriff’s decision on an application under paragraph 1 is final.
