Between 1 January 2009 and 20 April 2010, 210 people with mesothelioma and 58 people with asbestos-related lung cancer sought assistance from Clydeside Action on Asbestos.
As far as I am aware, there is significant opposition only when there is a closure programme. In my local authority area, Glasgow, we had a school closure programme last year.
